Mariah To Appear On New PETA Billboard

Lady Gaga’s infamous “meat dress” may have drawn the ire of PETA, but that hasn’t stopped the animal-rights organization from featuring her — along with fellow icons Pink and Mariah Carey — on a brand-new billboard, set to be unveiled Tuesday in Los Angeles.

It’s part of PETA’s “Fur-Free and Fabulous” campaign, and, despite the fallout over her Video Music Awards outfit, Gaga was chosen because, as PETA puts it in a press release, “Her anti-fur stance… has been unwavering.”

PETA also selected Pink and Carey for the billboard — which will be raised on the corner of Sunset Boulevard and La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles — because of their longtime anti-fur stances. Pink, who recently co-starred with comedian Ricky Gervais in PETA’s “Stolen for Fashion” video short, once allegedly called out Beyoncé for wearing fur, and Carey famously donated a pair of full-length Russian sable coats she had received as gifts to PETA, who, in turn, gave them to homeless women at their winter “fur kitchen” event.

With the new billboard, Gaga, Pink and Carey join a list of stars who have teamed with the organization to come out against fur. Last year’s “Fur-Free and Fabulous” ad featured Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey.

Mariah Carey may be heavily pregnant with twins, but husband Nick Cannon tells us he is the one gaining all the unwanted pregnancy pounds.

“At this point, she’s just doing a lot of cooking, she’s not even eating. She’s creating the smell. So she cooks it, then makes me eat it. I’m the one gaining all the weight,” Cannon told FOX411’s Pop Tarts last week. “Last night we had buttered pork chops and homemade pecan pie. It’s like a smorgasbord in the kitchen every day.”
Speaking of food, Cannon spent his Saturday on the corner of Hollywood and Highland with cereal giants Kellogg’s to help launch the world’s largest cuckoo clock.

Yes, a cuckoo clock.

“We’re out there setting a Guinness Book World Record for the biggest cuckoo clock for Kellogg’s crunchy nut cereal. It’s really cool because it’s always breakfast time somewhere,” he explained.

But back to their future brood, the famous couple already has names picked out for their little ones (although they’re keeping it under wraps) and Cannon said they hope to be strict but spirited parents.

“Yes all that (good cop, bad cop) but we’ll still have fun at the same time,” he said of his parenting plans.

And when the expectant parents aren’t in the kitchen, they’re indulging in the new season of “American Idol.”

“I think everyone is having a good time. The new judges are doing their thing. It’s good to see Randy Jackson in the power seat – kinda like that. I’m enjoying it,” Cannon continued. “I am catching (an extra feel good factor.) It’s really pulling at your heart strings a bit more, which is nice.”

On the note of making music, can we expect a future collaboration between Carey and Cannon?

“You never know. If we do, it will only be in fun,” he said. “I don’t feel like I’m worthy to ever be in the studio with Mariah Carey on a serious note.”

So how did the now 30-year-old rapper/record producer manage to win over one of the world’s all-time biggest music sensations?

“That’s the question of the hour,” he added with a smile. “I don’t know – I got lucky.”

Nick Cannon: Mariah Carey’s making me gain weight

Nick Cannon has admitted wife Mariah Carey’s pregnancy is causing him to gain weight.

The television personality is married to singing superstar Mariah, with the pair announcing last month that they are expecting twins.

So far the pregnancy is going well, and Nick admires Mariah’s method for dealing with cravings. Apparently the star has been preparing some delicious homemade meals, although once the dishes are ready to eat her cravings have been disappearing. For that reason, Nick has been eating all the leftovers, and he fears he will be the one needing a post-pregnancy diet more than his beloved wife.

“I think she’s figured out brilliantly that when she craves stuff she doesn’t necessarily have to eat it,” he told Radar.

“When she cooks, she cooks everything from scratch and then the cravings go away. So I get stuck with eating all the food. I’ll be gaining weight during this pregnancy.”

Nick has been blown away by Mariah’s physical and mental strength so far during the pregnancy. He can’t get over how well she has been handling all the changes to her body.

“She’s holding up beautifully. To see this strength! It’s a different type of strength to carry around two babies,” he gushed. “She’s not even concerned with her aches and pains which I’m sure are great. She’s so nurturing right now. It’s wonderful. It’s amazing to see.”

The romantic star also explained how fond he is of Valentine’s Day – which is coming up next month. Nick plans on spoiling Mariah even more than usual this year.

“I’m going to bring Valentine’s Day to my wife. I’ll probably Valentine’s the house out. We’re gonna put balloons, flowers, all of that stuff everywhere,” he beamed.
